Our pledge
We want rfair to be a respectful, productive project for people working on FAIR assessment, research software, metadata, and reproducible science. We commit to making participation in this project free from harassment and exclusionary behavior.
Expected behavior
Participants are expected to:
- Be respectful of different backgrounds, experience levels, and viewpoints.
- Keep technical disagreement focused on evidence, reproducible examples, and maintainable solutions.
- Accept constructive feedback and correct mistakes when they are identified.
- Credit prior work, data sources, upstream projects, and contributors.
- Avoid derailing issue threads or pull requests with unrelated discussion.
Unacceptable behavior
Unacceptable behavior includes:
- Harassment, intimidation, stalking, or sustained disruption.
- Discriminatory language or behavior.
- Personal attacks, insults, or dismissive comments directed at a person rather than the work.
- Publishing private information without explicit permission.
- Unwanted sexual attention or imagery.
- Bad-faith conduct that intentionally wastes maintainer or contributor time.
Reporting
If you experience or observe unacceptable behavior, report it privately to the maintainer at a.sofimahmudi@gmail.com. Include links, screenshots, logs, or other context when available. Do not open a public issue for conduct reports.
Reports will be handled as confidentially as practical. Maintainers may remove comments, close issues or pull requests, block users, or take other action needed to protect the project community.
Attribution
This code of conduct is based on the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1: https://www.contributor-covenant.org/version/2/1/code_of_conduct/.
